Shipping

Where do you ship from?

We ship all orders from Brisbane, Queensland (postcodes 4157 or 4161).


All items are in stock unless clearly marked as a pre-order.

We never dropship. All products are packed and dispatched directly from our Brisbane location.

STANDARD SHIPPING

We offer free STANDARD shipping for orders from $99 AUD after any discounts (i.e. after a discount code has been applied)

STANDARD shipping cost for under $99 will incur a flat rate of $10 AUD Australia wide.

EXPRESS SHIPPINGΒ 

EXPRESS shipping cost will incur a flat rate of $15Β AUD Australia wide.

Yes, we will send you the tracking number once the item has been dispatched.

We use Australia Post for shipping. Depending on your location, orders usually will arrive in 3-5 business days after being dispatched (as per Aus post information).

Please allow some more time if you live regional, closer to Christmas day. Express post option available

Same day dispatch available for orders placed by 2 pm Brisbane time.

For any other orders, Items will be dispatched the next business day. You will be notified when the item has been fulfilled. Don't forget to check your junk mail if you have not received confirmation of fulfilment.

Feel free to write us if you haven't received a confirmation emailΒ after the 1 business day.

Please send us an email to info@otaku-taco.com or start a conversation on the chat box. Please include the items you'd like to buy and your postcode and country.
We will check with our local courier for costs and will get back to you with a shipping quote.

Returns and exchanges

What if I change my mind about a product or if I have chosen an incorrect size?

We will be happy toΒ provide an exchange or a refund for items are returned in their original condition.

Please write us within 15 days of receiving the product and we will advise you how to return the item(s) to us.Β 

Return postage is payable by the customer.Β We reserve the right to reject any items that are returned in unsaleable condition.

Please note thatΒ underwear, swimwear, bodysuits, hosiery and earrings cannot be returned due to Australian health & hygiene regulations.Β

Yes β€” during the Christmas period, we extend our exchange policy for clothing items only. This allows gift recipients extra time to try on their clothing and request an exchange if needed.

You can exchange any clothing item until 31 January 2026.

Please note that for clothing refunds, our usual 15-day change-of-mind policy still applies. The 15 days begin from the date AusPost confirms the item as delivered.

Payment

I want to place an order, how can I pay?

Payment methods currently accepted are: Paypal, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Google pay, Shopify and Afterpay.

Please note: additional payment authentication may be requested as per your card issuer.

We now accept Afterpay as a method of payment. At checkout and after adding your shipping details, the Afterpay option of payment can be used.Β 

1. Add the desired products to your basket.Β 

2. Fill out your shipping infoΒ 

3. In the payments option, select Afterpay.Β 

4. You'll be taken to Afterpay's website where you can sign up as a new user.Β You’ll know you’ve been approved within seconds.
